Looking beyond garments, it focuses on the structures that make fashion possible, from supply chains and platforms to labour networks, trade routes, and ecological resources. Borrowed from logistics terminology, the title refers to what can be delivered, when, and to whom, prompting questions about what fashion promises, who benefits, and whose labour, lands, and lives sustain it.

Through three interconnected elements, HERE, THERE, WITHIN approaches contemporary fashion as a space in which complex identities, cultural references and shared histories are continuously being redefined.

At its core, the project unfolds through an exhibition featuring works by Alessandro Santi, Benedikt Simon Salchegger, Dead White Men’s Clothes, Flora Miranda, Florentina Leitner, GATTO, Hao Wu, HISU PARK, Julian Schock, Lore, Matthias Winkler, Sassa Ann van Wyk and Used To Be. It presents garments in staged settings, inviting visitors to experience contemporary fashion as a cultural medium.

The accompanying publication takes the form of a visual journal, offering fragmentary insights into the references, research processes and inner dialogues that inform the designers’ practices.

The project further expands into public space through an urban poster campaign across Brussels and Antwerp.

Berlin Fashion Week is one of Europe’s key fashion platforms, held twice a year in Berlin and known for its strong focus on sustainability, emerging talent, and cultural diversity. The event brings together designers, brands, buyers, press, and creatives through a dynamic program of runway shows, presentations, installations, and panel discussions.

This season, Berlin Fashion Week returns from 02 – 05 July 2026 for the presentation of the SS 2027 collections, once again transforming the city into an international hub for fashion, creativity, and cultural exchange. Alongside established formats and brands, the official schedule highlights emerging designers and interdisciplinary concepts that reflect Berlin’s progressive and experimental spirit.

Beyond the runway, the program includes exhibitions, talks, networking events, and community-driven initiatives that connect fashion with art, technology, sustainability, and contemporary culture. 

Selected brands, formats, and platforms supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises (SenWEB) form the foundation of the official program and are complemented by a wide range of events from Berlin’s international creative scene.

The implementation and coordination of Berlin Fashion Week is carried out together with industry partners, including Fashion Council Germany.

METAMORPHOSIS – dialogues about change is a talk series by Fashion Council Germany powered by eBay and presented as part of Berlin Fashion Week. Bringing together international experts and voices from fashion, sustainability, culture, technology, and the circular economy, the platform creates space for interdisciplinary dialogue around the transformations shaping the future of fashion.

The fifth edition of METAMORPHOSIS will take place from 03 – 05 July 2026, daily from 1 PM to 6 PM, during Berlin Fashion Week SS27. Across three thematic days — Circularity & Sustainability, Innovation & Technology, and Creativity & Communication — the programme explores how fashion can rethink value, challenge existing systems, and build stronger connections between culture, creativity, business, and innovation.

METAMORPHOSIS approaches topics such as preloved systems, emerging technologies, storytelling, circular business models, and cultural change not as short-term trends, but as signals of a deeper industry transformation. By bringing together optimistic minds and critical voices from different disciplines, generations, and perspectives, the platform encourages open conversations about how fashion can evolve in a more responsible, collaborative, and future-oriented way.

Because change does not happen in isolation — it happens in dialogue.

The first major international event for fashion in Romania is back for its Spring-Summer 2027 collection, taking place from October 14 to October 17 2026. 

For four consecutive days, the city hosts an extensive program of fashion shows, conferences and events, bringing together established and emerging brands, industry professionals, international buyers and press. Organized under the umbrella of the Council of Fashion Designers of Romania (CFDR), the event continues its mission to transform Bucharest into a regional hub for fashion, creativity and European cultural dialogue, bringing together regional and international professionals. 

This edition also hosts the second edition of the Next Generation contest in partnership with Polimoda, dedicated to promoting young talent and helping develop their educational path and creative development.
